Cherina: Cherina Denise Hamilton.

Photos by LJK: Beautiful! Now, tell me about the woman who inspires you the most and why.

Cherina: You know, as I step into 2025, I find myself reflecting on the journey that got me here. This past year, I made a conscious decision to conquer my fears and see challenges as stepping stones rather than roadblocks. It hasn’t always been easy, but every step has been worth it.

One of the things I’m most proud of is creating workplaces where my staff don’t just feel valued—they genuinely love coming to work. That, to me, is the real measure of success. It’s not just about business milestones; it’s about people thriving, feeling appreciated, and being inspired to make an impact.

Photos by LJK: That’s powerful! And I love that you’re carrying that energy into 2025. What are you conquering this year?

Cherina: I’m doubling down on my mission to lead with courage, compassion, and purpose. I want to ensure every single person on my team knows their contributions matter and to continue creating spaces that uplift not just our clients, but also the people who serve them.

Photos by LJK: That’s what true leadership looks like! If you could go back and give your younger self one piece of advice, what would it be?

Cherina: That feeling in your gut? ALWAYS TRUST IT.

Cherina: The Glow by Victoria Monét.

Cherina: Making candles. There’s something so soothing about it.

Cherina: Resilient.

Cherina: No matter what challenges I’ve faced, I’ve learned to adapt, grow, and push forward. Resilience isn’t about avoiding failure—it’s about getting up stronger every single time.

Photos by LJK: That’s so real. Speaking of wins, how do you celebrate yours, big or small?

Cherina: By allowing myself to rest and relax without guilt. Sometimes, the biggest flex is just being still and knowing you don’t always have to be in motion to be making progress.

Photos by LJK: YES! Rest is a necessity, not a luxury. Now, when you think of strength, what does it mean to you?

Cherina: Strength means having the courage to face challenges head-on while remaining compassionate and grounded. I embody that by leading with resilience, supporting those around me, and staying true to my values—no matter the obstacles.

Photos by LJK: That’s a beautiful definition of strength. If you could make one major change in the world for women, what would it be?

Cherina: For women to feel safe in the world.

Cherina: Going from being an employee to the CEO of two companies—with only a bachelor’s degree.
