A Conversation with the Kindhearted & Fearless Alisha Woodall

Today, we’re sitting down with Alisha Woodall, a woman who holds space for others, trusts her intuition, and isn’t afraid to dig deeper and get doper. Let’s dive into her inspiring story!

Photos by LJK: What’s your full name?

Alisha: Alisha Woodall.

Photos by LJK: Who is the woman that inspires you the most?

Alisha: My mom inspires me the most! She was the most thoughtful, intentional woman who loved hard and made those in her presence feel important.

As a therapist, I am able to hold space for others during their most difficult chapters, and I owe much of my empathetic nature to the woman who raised me.

Photos by LJK: That is such a beautiful tribute. If you could give your younger self one piece of advice, what would it be?

Alisha: Trust your intuition and do the scary things without hesitation.

Photos by LJK: That’s a whole word! What’s your go-to song when you need to feel empowered?

Alisha: “Automatic Woman” by H.E.R.

Photos by LJK: That song is a vibe! What’s a passion or hobby that brings you joy outside of work?

Alisha: Floral arrangements; I love gathering various flowers and creating something beautiful.

Photos by LJK: That’s such a beautiful form of creativity! If you had to describe yourself in one word, what would it be?

Alisha: Kindhearted.

Photos by LJK: Why did you choose that word?

Alisha: I hate seeing anyone hurt or mistreated.

Photos by LJK: That level of empathy is a gift! How do you celebrate your wins, big or small?

Alisha: Fine dining! I love a bougie dining experience!

Photos by LJK: Yesss, luxury should be a lifestyle! What does strength mean to you, and how do you embody it?

Alisha: The ability to withstand. I can find the silver lining in just about anything; as long as I can wrap my head around it, I can withstand it.

Photos by LJK: That’s such a powerful mindset. If you could make one change in the world for women, what would it be?

Alisha: Recognize our supreme power and stand on it! We are smart, witty, and capable of creating life (even those who have not given birth). Women are (dare I say) superior beings. I would change the way we view ourselves as a whole.

Photos by LJK: Say it louder for the people in the back! What’s one accomplishment you’re really proud of?

Alisha: Stepping out on faith and walking away from corporate.

Alisha: Dig Deeper, Get Doper!
