A Conversation with the Passionate & Powerful Brittany Doris Wilborn

At Photos by LJK, we love spotlighting women who lead with passion, resilience, and a heart for others. Today, we’re sitting down with Brittany Doris Wilborn, a woman whose strength, faith, and fire light up every room she walks into. Let’s dive into her inspiring journey!

Photos by LJK: What’s your full name?

Brittany: Brittany Doris Wilborn.

Photos by LJK: Who is the woman that inspires you the most?

Brittany: My mom inspired me and still does to this day! She passed on 6/6/23, and I miss her every day. She was selfless, compassionate, cared for others in a genuine way, and didn’t take no…stuff! Lol.

It’s because of her and my (late) dad that I’m starting my non-profit. She taught me to be strong, caring, and to set boundaries as I go through life. I know I’ll pour into others from an empty cup and not ask for anything in return because I watched her do the same.

Photos by LJK: That’s such a beautiful legacy. If you could give your younger self one piece of advice, what would it be?

Brittany: Trust that my gifts are from God, and the vision was given to me for a reason. Don’t sleep on your gifting.

Photos by LJK: That’s a word! What’s your go-to song or station when you need to feel empowered?

Brittany: “Unstoppable” by Koryn Hawthorne and anything Janet Jackson!

Photos by LJK: Love that balance of gospel and groove! What’s a passion or hobby that brings you joy outside of work?

Brittany: DANCING!!!!!!

Photos by LJK: Yesss! If you had to describe yourself in one word, what would it be?

Brittany: Passionate!

Photos by LJK: Why did you choose that word?

Brittany: I have a big heart, and I truly love helping and seeing people succeed. I put passion into everything I do!

Photos by LJK: That energy is contagious! How do you celebrate your wins, big or small?

Brittany: I stop and take time to acknowledge and be proud of the win. We too often rush through life and never take time to stop and smell the roses—or breathe in some good ole air! And maybe buy myself a new Pandora charm! Lol

Photos by LJK: I love that! What does strength mean to you, and how do you embody it?

Brittany: Strength means never giving up on yourself and others. Sometimes we have to pivot, but you don’t stop. Strength means asking for help when you need it and resting when you need it too.

We hustle through everything and never give ourselves the chance to just be. I practice gratitude with myself and others and don’t beat myself down when I need support to accomplish a goal.

Photos by LJK: That’s real. If you could make one change in the world for women, what would it be?

Brittany: For true equality from the world and amongst each other.

I’m not afraid to say my sister’s name in a room she’s not in, in a fruitful and positive way—hoping she gets the blessings that are there, even though she may not be.

Photos by LJK: That’s how we all win! Now, what’s one accomplishment you’re really proud of?

Brittany: Becoming an international swimsuit model for Swimsuits For All! I was chosen to be in their campaign in 2024! They flewed me out to the Bahamas for an amazing photo shoot with some amazing people!

Photos by LJK: Okayyyy, booked and busy! That’s amazing! Last question—if you had a billboard for one day, what would it say?

Brittany: Thank you, God, for every blessing! Trust Him!
