Let’s face it, family sessions are fun for me. As a family photographer, I make sure Dads have a great time. It’s hard to get Dad to join the family session at times, but not for me. I love to explain why the investment is so important. I like Dad to understand why the pictures matter. Our consultations lay out the WHY behind what I do. Ready for your tips? Here you go!
Attend the zoom consultation with your family photographer.
Ask as many questions as you possibly can.
Have a playlist ready. You can even create a playlist if you’d like. Music is a vibe that allows the energy to take over.
Give your family photographer a story that you’d like to narrate.
No arguments before the session. Trust me, discussing bills and troubles will show in your images.
Iron your clothes and try to coordinate with the family.
Schedule your haircut a day before your session. We know how long it can possibly take to get that cut done.
Do what you can to help with the kids. Mom is definitely going to be running errands days leading up to the session.
Rest well the night before and hydrate. Radiant skin looks great on you.
If you’re wearing a suit, cut the thread in the back of your jacket and unstitch the pockets to your pants. Your family photographer will definitely have you use your pockets.
